Energy Resolution Testing System

Currently, the measurement system for DIXE microcalorimeter devices utilizes a two-stage DC SQUID framework to characterize their electrical and thermal properties. Additionally, it is equipped with two systems—a laser diode and an Fe55 radiation source—to assess the energy resolution of the devices. The energy resolution of the processed devices is currently better than 1 eV, and further optimization of device characteristics will be based on the measurement results. In the future, a testing system utilizing AC frequency division multiplexing (FDM) readout will be implemented in the laboratory, better aligning with real-world applications. The related readout system is under construction, and FDM devices are currently being processed.
