DIXE Sky Tiles &
eROSITA Tile Cross-match
The DIXE all-sky tiling (404 near-equal-area tiles of about 100 deg² each, defined in Galactic coordinates), accompanied by the eROSITA-DE/eSASS half-sky tile catalogue and example code that returns the containing tile and the overlapping survey tiles for a given position. Two modes are supported: the full tile (‘region’, recommended) and a circular field of view with adjustable radius (‘circle’, default 5 deg).
DIXE One-Year Exposure Maps
The predicted exposure-time distribution of DIXE over the one-year observation cycle, including the expected values for both the FI and FD observing strategies. The maps use Galactic coordinates with a Hammer all-sky projection, and the colour scale runs from deep purple to bright yellow for short to long exposure. The FI strategy pauses observing only while the Sun is inside the avoidance zone, so its overall exposure is longer; the FD strategy suspends all-sky observing on days affected by the Sun, resulting in shorter exposures. The bright arcs trace areas of repeated coverage from the space station’s orbital scanning, while dark areas indicate sky regions with little or no exposure. Because the station attitude is fixed and DIXE keeps a steady pointing throughout the survey, the regions near the two poles cannot be covered and the exposure time there is zero.

DIXE Non X-ray Background (NXB)
DIXE Non X-ray Background (NXB) technical note: the NXB spectrum (geomagnetic latitude 0 deg, solar minimum) simulated with Geant4 from cosmic particles in the CSS orbit, the breakdown by particle components, the fit with an 11th-order polynomial + 10 Gaussian lines, and the usage of the XSPEC background file.
